It’s been 7 weeks since we are back in Belgium and it feels like much longer. The kids have adjusted well to their new school , they both were very brave the first week and we only had a few tears. Very quickly they got used to the new routines, just staying for lunch at school isn’t their favorite part of the day. But I guess that 130 children ,aged 2,5 to 5 year, all having lunch in the same canteen can be a bit overwhelming at times. Today was the last day before the easter holiday and now they get to stay home for 2 weeks. I was hoping for the baby to be here by now , but still no sign 🙂 It could be any days now, tomorrow is the due date and I’m quite determined not to pass it !
Officially spring has started here but apart from a few sunny days it’s been quite cold being back home. So for all of you complaining about the australian weather , I envy you !!!
Last weekend our container finally arrived in Antwerp and we could start unpacking , thanks to the help from family we managed to finish the job in 2 days! No more moving houses for a while now, especially when you’re 9 months pregnant. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
The kids were thrilled to find their favorite toys and bikes back. I’ve been a bit lazy with the camera lately , but here are a few pics I managed to take. Another update will follow soon …
